Brenda (Lawver) Landis

Alan Dunsworth

I planned to graduate with the class of 81, but that's not the way things worked out. This is my e-mail address alduns7@cox.net and a recent picture while fishing in Texas with a dear friend named Danny Pugh, another EHS class of '81 MIA.

Best wishes, Alan Dunsworth

Keflavik Naval Air Station, Iceland.

Visit grouchymedia.com 2004 Para rescue.

This was a video made by my buddy while with the U.S.A.F.'S 56th Rescue Squadron. I was the NCOIC of 5 Blackhawk H-H 60 Helicopters while stationed there for 14 months. We saved 14 people from perilous waters during ocean rescues from 2003-2004. The footage is marine training while on the the glacier in Iceland from Keflavik Naval Air Station. There are great military video's on this site so please enjoy.

Howdy! Here's an update for ehs81.com -

Taylor is graduating from high school on the 22nd. She'll be attending K-State in the fall majoring in Fashion Design & Business. She is planning on doing her Jr. & Sr. years in the Ambassador program that will allow her to study in New York and then graduate from K-State.

Can you believe I have a kid graduating from high school!!!!!!!!!! We had a senior banquet at church last Friday and they ran a video of pictures set to music that nearly killed me. Hang on to them while their little as tight as you can!

Hope you and yours are well. I attached one of her Sr. pics also.

Kelly (Small) Scheile

I am just dropping a line to let you know that I am studying to be a Medical Office Assistant and will graduate in February 2008. I will be doing a internship in January for four weeks then off to a job I hope. Who would have thought that I would be given a golden opportunity to go back to school. When the company I worked for took there business to Mexico it displace a lot of us and to compensate us the government offered to send us to school to retrain us for a new job. I took advantage of this opportunity and am on the last leg of class.

I am involved with the Phi Beta Lambda organization that you automatically are signed up for when you go to school. I am loving every bit of it and can't wait to put my new found skills to work. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing great.

Enid High Update May 2008

All seems to be pretty quiet on the Class of 1981 home front. If you have news please let me know. Here's a bit...

Ronnie Peck checked in. He went to school with several 81 graduates until 1976 (Coolidge School) when his parents moved to Ames, OK where he finished school. He would have graduated with the class of '81 had he not moved. If you would like to connect with Ronnie you can find his email added to our list. We may get an update on Ronnie's whereabouts soon.

Joni update:
Joni had an appointment with her doctor for a 3 month follow up and to go over her PET scan from Friday. The results say that her cancer is active at T3 and possibly in her left proximal femur (left hip joint). She will have an x-ray of the hip to be sure it isn't about to break and after they get the results of the tumor markers they will know if she will stay on Femara or if they will change meds. They REALLY hope the Femara works because if not...her only option is Chemotherapy. Keep Joni, Mike and their family in your prayers! Send her an email to say hi!

Jenny, Live Tonight on the Oscars!

O-S-C-A-R won't be spelling bologna tonight. The Academy Awards will be presenting Oscar live beginning at 7:30 p.m. tonight on KOCO, Channel 5.

Do we really care about who is wearing what and who shows up with who? Not really. Are we tired of reading gossip and police reports about these overpaid celebs? Probably. Are we going to watch the Oscars to see famous actors? No. We'll be watching to see my fellow 1981 Enid High classmate, Jenny Fowler Graham, perform live during the show!

You should be able to spot Jenny during the song, "That's How You Know," from "Enchanted".

Good Luck Jenny! The class of 1981 will be watching!

Kathy Koehn Update

Kathy has updated her email address to ghkessel@suddenlink.net.

On a sad note, Kathy's father, Delmer Koehn passed away from pancreatic cancer on February 5 after just a 2 month battle. Kathy was able to have him home in hospice care at the time. Sharon Wails Semrad was able help in their difficult time as were many others who helped care for him.

On a brighter note, Amy Lund Joss was in Enid this past weekend and the two had a great visit.

Email Kathy to say hi.

Eric Reed Update

Eric has been keeping in touch through photos. He is still in OKC shooting X-Rays.

Todd Wheeler Update

Todd is an official grandpa! His middle son Justin became the proud parent of a baby boy. This picture from last Christmas is not of Todd's grandson, it is his youngest son Derek!

Todd is still plugging away with his Enid construction business while living in Medford, OK.

Send Todd an email and raz him about something.

Sandy (Shearon) Chance Update

Sandy also checked in many, many months ago. Here's her update:

Sandy has 3 boy's (hold on...) 26 yrs old, 23 yrs old and an 18 yr old stepson. And for the good part, she also has 3 wonderful grandchildren! Melissa is 5 yrs old, Alexis is 4 yrs old and Jacob is 3 yrs old. She loves it.

She is a very proud mom and grandma. Both of her boy's are single parents of their kids and live here in Enid. Her 2nd son just moved back after getting out of the Army, and back from Iraq.

Sandy moved away for a period of time '87-'94 and lived in Ft. Worth, Texas. She loved it down there. But she is very glad that she brought them here to raise in their teen years.

She works at North American Stone Crafters, where they fabricate and install granite countertops. Sandy is the office manager & H.R. officer. So if you ever need granite they are the place to find it.

Email Sandy and say hi.
